Welcome to the City of Venice Online Services

Apply for a permit, project, or business tax, check the status of a permit or project, schedule/cancel inspections, report an issue, search code enforcement violations and/or pay associated fees.

For Permits and Projects that require plan review, you will receive an email invitation to upload your drawings and associated documentation to ePlan Review.

The City of Venice Building Department offers VuSpex, a virtual building inspections tool that provides remote inspection services to contractors using any electronic device. To schedule a virtual inspection, simply log into your contractor dashboard. Choose the permit number and schedule the inspection as usual. From the "Time" drop-down menu choose "Virtual" and in the notes section provide your anticipated time frame(s). You will receive a text message invite near the scheduled time.
